The PRO AC (Godox XT16) Flash Trigger is a 16-channel 2.4GHz radio studio flash trigger that enables you to trigger PiXAPRO or Godox Flashes that have a built-in 2.4GHz flash-receiver, or flashes that have a plugged into it. It supports up to 16 flash groups and 16 channels, enabling you to control your flash(es) remotely.
PiXAPRO ONE-System and Godox X-System Compatible.
The PRO AC trigger communicates with the flash using the 2.4GHz Radio Waveband and has a transmission range of up to 50m in an open area. This means it triggers flashes over relatively long distances.
Line-Of-Sight Not Required
Since the Pro AC trigger works using radio signals, it does not require direct line-of-sight as the older optical and infrared flash triggers did. This enables you to position your flashes behind walls and use them in bright sunlight, while still being able to trigger your flashes. This opens up a whole new world of possibilities for your photography projects.
Universal Single-Pin Hotshoe
The PRO AC wireless flash trigger uses a universal single-pin hot shoe connection, meaning it is compatible with virtually any camera with a hot shoe. (Please note, some entry-level DSLRs such as the EOS250D, 2000D, and 4000D lack the centre-pin contact that this trigger requires to work. In this case, we would recommend either the ST-III or ST-IV triggers).
16 Selectable Channels
The PRO AC 2.4GHz flash trigger (Godox XT16) features 16 selectable channels. To sync your trigger with your flash, simply set them both to the same channel, and you’re ready to go. The Channels are selectable using the white dipswitches located at the face of the trigger (Please see the diagram below for the channel switch combinations).
16 Flash Groups
The PRO AC 2.4GHz flash trigger also supports up to 16 flash groups. This enables you to individually control up to 16 groups of flashes remotely from the trigger. If you would like to control each flash in your setup individually, then simply set each flash to a different group. If you would like to set multiple flashes together, then set each light to the same flash group.
The PRO AC 2.4GHz studio flash trigger system (XT16) is ideal for photographers that have a PiXAPRO or Godox Studio Flashes, (such as the Pixapro Lumi and Kino Series, as well as the Godox MS, SK, DP-Series, etc.) who want a basic trigger to get started with. It is also great for Studio owners who rent out their studios to other photographers, due to the universal nature of its single-pin hot shoe.
Please Note: PiXAPRO Flash and Triggering Systems are fully compatible with Godox 2.4GHz Triggers, which will allow you to mix both and PiXAPRO Equipment together without issue.
PLEASE NOTE: The AD-E1 Adapter from Canon is required for use with the Canon EOS R50, as its hotshoe lacks the necessary contact pins.
